-Sunday Morning Club ride - 9.30am, Madigan Pro cycle Shop, Carrickfergus. All riders stay together for first hour. Then the group split into two groups depending on ability.
-Wednesday evening training ride- 7.15pm, Straid village (Weather dependent) Only Out of Racing Season.
Carrickergus to Ballygalley just past Larne , approx 40 miles , Terrain flat with slight rise from Larne to Blowhole at Whitehead , suitable for all levels of cyclist.
hilly route , very scenic but several long hills , incorporates optional climb to slemish , with a steep incline and rough surface it poses a challenge to all levels of cyclist , one for the mountain goats.
approx 52 miles but feels like 80 :)
suitable with southerly or easterly winds , can be done clockwise if northerly or westerly winds.
hard hilly run approx 75 miles , only suitable with wind from north , can be done counterclockwise , very hilly including glens of antrim , for moderate fitness experienced riders only.
Difficult run due to distance , quite hilly on return from craigavon , approx 108 miles from shop and back , suitable for experienced riders of good fitness. approx 6.5hrs @17mph average.
